It took Dags many years and 1,000 drawings to learn how to sketch figures from nature so that he could freely create compositions of anthropomorphic forms, stylizing and simplifying. The illusion that they are people is convincing, because give or take arms, legs and the back arc in the right direction. And it requires undoubted craftsmanship, because unlike abstract and natural forms, every viewer has carefully studied anthropomorphic forms in the mirror. Composition is primary in all paintings. As soon as it begins to gather in a harmonious twist, it is no longer developed in the modulation of anatomical details of the forms and the clarification of details.

Contemporary art gallery "Bazar't" invites (you) to the exhibition "FAMILY DAY". We invite you to Daga Viduleja painting exhibition "FAMILY DAY", which will take place in the Bazar't art gallery on the second floor of TC "Mols". The artwork will be viewable starting from February 1 until February 31 every day from 10:00 to 9:00.

EXHIBITION The name of the exhibition is the theme of the title painting "FAMILY DAY". Every year, the participants of the 1924 Winter Festival return to Cathedral Square for one month. In Riga, angels turn the time machine back. And by the cathedral's Christmas tree, on the New Year's Market, the whole square is embodied with fairy-tale characters from the "golden age" of the Latvian free state. Peace and joy reign in Riga. All residents of Riga who come to the Market transform themselves into their childhood "I" standing beside the Christmas tree.
